SBS RISE is looking to hire a Digital Content & Social Media intern for the spring 2025 semester to assist with a variety of duties related to digital promotion, marketing, and education about its programs. This internship will be paid and eligible for credit in the spring semester, and will require 10 hours a week (over the 12-week semester), more if time allows.

Connecting and engaging with our students through social media and web outreach has increased with importance. We have a dynamic, user-friendly website and create content specific to each user, including current students, students who may consider UMass and SBS for post-secondary education, parents, and alumni. This is an exciting opportunity for students with a firm grasp of social media and content development, along with social media metrics, to further develop their skills in a real-world environment.

The primary function of the Digital Content Intern is to help ensure that the latest information about our office, programs, initiatives, and events are reaching students through a variety of media. The Digital Content Intern will help create a strategy, content, develop, and disseminate text and video-based content, monitor website traffic and social media channels, support promotional and marketing efforts, and help us round out our website and grow our social presence.
